AMED’s mission is to enlighten college students about modern medical advancements by providing leadership and support for those on the pre-health journey. AMED is an educational and academic organization at UTD with the purpose to explore the future of technological and pharmaceutical advancements in medicine. Giving insight to pre-health students about new innovations and inventions in the medical field, this organization aims to look into the future at how the medical field is changing as technology advances. By being a pre-health organization, we aim to provide a strong support system for understanding the rigorous lives of college students and future healthcare workers. Our support group allows for a diverse community of colleagues emphasizing work-life balance and mental health awareness. The club is effectively run by and for its members, giving all parties the spotlight to shed their expertise and research with others.
